Adminiet: A gem for business events!

Welcome to a lively establishment, a gem for the business community. A unique venue for meetings, events, and accommodation. Now they’re opening something new!
woman, arms out, welcoming, smiling, posing, white building, private but for business, garden and impressive main entrance. Inger Ødegård welcomes the business community to The Admini at Herøya. Now with newly renovated Villa for meetings and accommodation.

Admini, with its rich history and picturesque surroundings, offers a perfect setting for both formal and informal gatherings. The historic building, surrounded by an extensive park by Friefjorden, provides a unique atmosphere that inspires creativity and camaraderie.

Inger Ødegård, the manager at Admini, invites you to the distinguished historic Admini building and the Villa, the former director’s residence, which now offers top-notch modern accommodation at Herøya.

A unique venue

Adminiet is more than just a great place to meet. It is a house full of life and history, built in the 1930s as a representation house.

“This place is full of life, not a museum as some might think,” begins the cheerful manager Inger Ødegård.

“During the Industriuka in Porsgrunn, we were fully booked,” she explains. “We’ve hosted many summer parties, and recently one of the companies held a mini-concert here with Hilde Nordland Gundersen, Lena Barth Aarstad, and Espen Gjelstad Gundersen playing the piano in the living room. It was incredibly beautiful!

The Villa is renovated

Soon, the old director’s residence, The Villa, will open with top modern accommodation,” Inger shares.

She is impressed with Yara, the owner of Adminiet, for investing significant amounts in the property for the future.

The villa will have six new unique rooms. Each room tells the story of Yara’s directors, the director’s wife Fanny, and the hares at Herøya.

Customisation

Customisation is the keyword, also in the kitchen.

“We specialise in customisation; we don’t have set menus here. We decide the menu together with our guests, and we use quality ingredients,” promises Inger.

She reveals that Adminiet’s own fish soup will soon be on the menu. “We hope it will be a success,” says the happy manager.

Guests keep coming back

Inger and her three colleagues at Adminiet are experienced in organising everything from meetings and dinner parties to celebrations and accommodation.

“When companies come here, they often want to return,” says Inger.
