Roger is the new leader at HAF. The association has 1,264 active members and about 1,800 in total.

“It is important that we sit down together, discuss, share and contribute ideas. That is how we build strong cooperation.”

“We need to be more united and make better use of the opportunities.”

Access to power and the green transition are key issues in upcoming negotiations.

“There is no point in sourcing raw materials from elsewhere if it is not green.”

His message is clear: members must stand together, share knowledge and pull in the same direction.

“We will face many challenges ahead, and if we do not stand together, we will lose. If we try to work separately, it simply will not work.”

HAF begins negotiations with Norsk Industri, industry association, this week.
