New leader at Bilfinger Norway

There are changes in the leadership at Bilfinger Norway. Paul Rune Aasrum Midtgarden is passing the baton to Johan Guldbjørnsen, who is taking over as the new leader of the company.

Johan Guldbjørnsen has extensive industry experience. He previously spent several years at Bilfinger, initially working within Projects & Consultancy before taking on the role of Head of Fabrication. In 2021, he moved to Aker Carbon Capture but has now returned to Herøya to lead Bilfinger Norway AS, part of the Nordic Region.

In his spare time, he is passionate about ultramarathon running and enjoys taking part in long and demanding endurance races.

Continuing with Bilfinger

Paul Rune Aasrum Midtgarden has held key leadership roles at Hydro and Bilfinger for over 25 years, including the past 13 years as the head of Bilfinger Norway. Additionally, he has led Bilfinger’s Nordic Region for several years, playing a crucial role in the company’s growth and development.

His involvement with Bilfinger will continue, now focusing on key functions within the Bilfinger Group. He will contribute to Global Products & Innovation while also providing local support in Norway during a transitional period.
